Atlanta Women’s Foundation | 2Gen Initiative
Georgia ranks 45th in the U.S. for gender equality. The Atlanta Women’s Foundation exists to help women and girls thrive. As a catalyst for change in the lives of women and girls, they play an essential role in helping more women and girls of metro Atlanta live safe, economically self-sufficient, and vibrant lives.
Together with the Liz Blake Giving Fund—who also wholeheartedly supports two-generation investments—the Atlanta Women’s Foundation’s Two-Generation Initiative is a collective-impact grantmaking program supporting organizations that address the needs of women and their families through comprehensive, holistic services. The initiative emphasizes early intervention, education, employment and stable housing.

Developing linkages between high-quality early childhood services and workforce development.
Ensuring that families have access to economic and social supports for upward mobility, while also ensuring healthy child development.
Developing programs to help parents build skills, knowledge, and resources to support child development.
