Pediatric Inpatient and Residential Behavioral and Mental Health Facilities in Georgia

In Spring of 2023, the Liz Blake Giving Fund supported a Behavioral and Mental Health Ecosystem Fellow at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to survey the current landscape and create an inventory of the behavioral and mental health ecosystem in the Atlanta Metropolitan Service Area (MSA) and then Georgia more broadly. The Behavioral and Mental Health Ecosystem Fellow created a detailed map of behavioral and mental health services in the Atlanta MSA and Georgia across the continuum of care. The map included patient populations, number of patients/beds, and types of services with ecosystem gaps and opportunities identified.
