GA-AIMH (Association for Infant Mental Health: Birth to Five) Annual Conference
The Georgia Association for Infant Mental Health: Birth to Five (GA-AIMH) is dedicated to raising awareness of children's social and emotional needs, building professional capacities, fostering collaboration, and advocating for policies benefiting families. Its initiatives focus on:
promoting healthy development
facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration
emphasizing the importance of infant and early childhood services and support—that's accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive
enhancing professional expertise to support early relational health
The 2023 GA-AIMH conference was centered on "Nurturing Connections Birth to Five." GA-AIMH recognizes the profound importance of fostering connections to advance the work in Georgia collectively, emphasizes the critical role of building relationships, and advocates for collaborative partnerships to support and expand its work. The Liz Blake Giving Fund was honored to sponsor the conference and make space for engaging large group sessions led by infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH) leaders, innovative workshops covering a broad spectrum of IECMH topics, as well as innovative research, programming, and advocacy efforts.
